Wrapping up 2021

Dear Friends of BWRC,

As we wrap up 2021, we’d like to share our gratitude and appreciation for all of you who have continued to be a part of our (online) community this year. We hope you stay safe and well this holiday season and we look forward to connecting again in the New Year!

In the meantime, if you have some time over this winter break or are looking for some activities while quarantine-ing, you can also watch recordings of our past Breakfast Talks on our Youtube page!

From the latest development in off-shore wind power and the expansion of last mile distribution sites along the waterfront, to the abolitionist history of downtown Brooklyn and the projects and creative strategies of artists and cultural institutions in our current moment, we’ve covered all things Brooklyn waterfront! As always, if there’s a topic or issue that you’d especially like to see covered in the future, feel free to drop us a line.

Check out this #BrooklynUtopias open call from our friends at the Old Stone House and Arts Gowanus! The application deadline to be a part of the exhibition is January 31. Learn more on their website.
